Hi,
We deployed VCS Control and VCS Expressway.
The only protocol being implemented was purely SIP and only SIP ports were defined on the firewall.
Internal SIP calls works fine as well as external using Jabber video registered on VCS Expressway calling endpoint registered on the VCS Control. No issue on traversal call.
We configured DNS Zone with search rule on the VCS Expressway for B2B calling.
We tried to test B2B call using SIP from an endpoint (605400@abc.com) registered on the VCS Control calling an external endpoint (88909003@xyz.com) but encountered issue. Call doesn't established. On the VCSe Search history, call status "Not Found".
On the VCSe Search details, we can see these logs:
What should we checked on the configuration?
Thank you.
Best regards,
Acevirgil

If the xyz.com doesn't have DNS NAPTR (SIP) or SRV (SIP and H.323) records published, you'll need to look up the address using the A and AAAA DNS records.
To do this, you need to set the "Include Address Record" setting (in your first screenshot) to "On".

Wayne TIP should help you on this.
Use the DNS lookup utility to confirm that your VCS E can solve the domain you want to reach.

Check to make sure the DNS addresses the VCS uses is configured correct. Someone recently posted the same issue, and the addresses they were using were incorrect by one number.
What happens when you try to dial: loopback@rtp.ciscotac.net? That is a good working address, used it last week.
