Hi,
We need to setup a VCS Expressway cluster. The currently there is a single VCS Expressway setup and we are going to create a cluster and add in the first peer.
Typically, the LAN1 is Non-NAT interface and the LAN2 is the NAT interface. However, on the existing VCS Expressway, the LAN1 is the NAT interface with LAN2 Non-Nat.
Can we create the cluster with LAN1 NAT and LAN2 Non-NAT and using LAN2 as the cluster peering IP address?
Has anyone done this or do we have to revert the current VCS Expressway LAN1 and LAN2 setup before proceeding to do the clustering?
If we have to switch the LAN1 and LAN2 config, it there any thing we need to look out for that will break any existing setup or is it just a simple config change with swapping of the network cable?
Any advise on the above will be greatly appreciated.
Daniel

I'd recommend you read through the Clister Creation and Maintenance Deployment Guide.
I think the bit of interest to you will be the note at the bottom of page 10:
If the VCS has advanced networking, the Peer IP address MUST specify the LAN 1 interface address. Also, this interface must not have NAT enabled on it.
