Version TC7.3.3 issue with Web browsers

Hello,

I have a few customers that are reporting different issues with different browsers going into the web interface of C-Series codec on version TC7.3.3. Happens mostly with either Google Chrome or IE. They get the message "The resource could not be found" and cannot access the device. Another person can access the same web interface on the same codec with no problem from a different computer using the same browser.

Can anyone tell me what are the supported browser and versions to access the web interface or if they might know if a specific setting on a computer could be creating this issue. Thank you all for your help.

I've used IE, Firefox, and Chrome when using the web interface of various TC7.3.3 codecs, and haven't had an issue as of yet.  Are the computers configured identical, have you tried to clear the browser cache, or use private browsing/incognito mode to see if that helps?  You could even go as far as factory resetting the codec and see if that might resolve the issue.

Hi Steve,

I was just browsing and came across  bug even though I suppose you won't be using Windows XP now.

HTTPS using IE8 and Windows XP is not supported
CSCul35568

Symptom
Due to lack of cipher suite support in IE8 running on Windows XP, HTTPS is no longer possible due to Cisco security requirements.
Condition
HTTPS using IE8 on Windows XP.
Workaround
Chrome, Firefox and Opera browsers work fine. These browser have the necessary cipher suite support. IE8 works fine with Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8.
