Hi,
I am unable to find what parameters influence serial number.
The problem is that virtual TPS is dynamically loaded into VM inventory and every time it gets different serial number even if I have static IP, Mask, Default Gateway, MAC, NTP, speed, timezone, domain name(none), DNS(none), hostname(none).
This of course, influence my inability to load proper licenses.
Anyone have this info?
BR,
Veselin

That is by design, to keep people from deploying multiple virtual servers when they've only purchased one. Everyone you deploy the TelePresence Server it will generate a new serial number, I'm not sure of the specifics of what it is based on, but it has to do with the underlying hardware the VM is being installed on. To avoid the serial number from changing you should use vMotion to move the TelePresence Server around after installing it.

Check out the conductor virtual machine deployment guide and check if you matched all requirements.
Like one comment there:
"If you copy the VM, the TelePresence Conductor serial number will change and the existing license keys will be invalidated. If you need to move TelePresence Conductor to a new host you must perform a host migration via vMotion."
From my understanding its at least based as well on the mac address and the datastore,
so if your not using a SAN and the datastore id changes you will most likely get a new serial number.
