Webex Board Pro and HDMI Out CEC Control

Hi @All

we have purchased a Webex Board Pro 75 and would use it with a Samsung display as second screen. The HDMI out is active and the second screen works fine but is CEC control already implemented? The Samsung display is not be set to standby when the Webex Board Pro turns into standby. I have looked in the settings of the Webex board and there is CEC enabled for HDMI out but it seems that it does not work.

I think you need to connect USB type C as well, to enable CEC control. check if this Samsung screen has USB-C port.

Hi Sebastian, that sounds like the Samsung's HDMI CEC has not been turned on.  You shouldn't need a USB-C for HDMI CEC.  Samsung might call the Consumer Electronics Control something else - article below calls it Anynet+.
