We are interested in getting our hands on a database map or schema for the current version on TMS.
We want to monitor TMS and MOVI license usage. We have a product (Science Logic EM7) that can read the SQL DB, but we just need to know were to look. Our TMS is already up and running fine.
Specifically we want to monitor the number of MOVI licenses that are in use (found under administrative tools)
and the TMS system license summary that is found on the portal page.
On another note, I saw a thread that the MOVI license in use count may not be accurate?
Does anyone know if Cisco has ackowledged this issue and does anyone kow the cause of the problem.
We will soon have 3 VCS Controls and 2 VCS Expressways and do not want to get in the complications of pulling that from each VCS....
Thanks

At least there is no API, nor have I seen any documentation.
With the amount of VCSs you have I so not see a big deal on using the API functionality
directly on the VCSs to get most of the info you need.
Its possible to get more stuff out with some handy "reverse engineering".
I also do some direct DB (sql/ldap) or direct web-service queries, but always be aware that this is highly
unsupported, do not try to mess with it (=write) as you can break something and do not forget that always
with the next release all your nice work might be useless.
If you get any info (or if anyone else has some) please let me know :-)

TMS is most certainly not reporting correct Movi license numbers in use, why I do not know.
I brought this to the attention of my local Cisco engineer some time ago, and also submitted a feature request to have TMS display, correctly, number of licenses in use and have this displayed on the portal page itself.
I know the above has been passed on to R&D, but you might want to submit a similar feature request to your Cisco rep.
The more the merrier
