Inquiry on Tandberg Telepresence Conductor

Dear all,

Our client would like to know more detail information on the cascade port and content port of Tandberg Telepresence Conductor.

In the client's network, we have decided to create a conference bridge with Three MCU

4210 (for example mcu1, mcu2 and mcu3). In the service preference, we have configured priorty from mcu1 to mcu3.

Since the MCU 4210 supports 20 SD ports, the totally number of SD ports is 60 ports.

We assume there are 20 participants call the same conference alias.

Please correct me if there any mistake in following video port  calculation,

MCU1: 18 video port + 1 cascade port + 1 content port.

MCU2:   1 video port + 1 cascade port + 1 content port.

Moreover,is the number of content port depended on the number of conference?

Hi Ben,

You calculation is correct, however one more port for content will be only consumed when content is shared.

Also to save the consumption of one extra port, you can select the 'passthrough' content mode.
