You don't mention which software version you're running, as the API can sometimes change from one version to another.

Looking at the MX200/300 G2 CE8.2 API Guide, there doesn't appear to be a configuration anymore for changing the baud-rate, however on pg 28 under "RS-232/serial connection" it mentions it can be.  So, I would say if there isn't any type of option on the web interface or if you list all the xConfiguration commands and don't see SerialPort BaudRate, I'd presume there isn't one anymore for this particular endpoint/software version.

yes it's Version CE8.2.1, we have opened a TAC case to clarify this questions.

Georg

Hi,

The baud rate cannot be changed.  Is just 115200.

Hi,

CSCvb31985. Request to Update API doc(latest CE8.x) for SX10 (page 29) , MX200/MX300 G2 (page 28) to prevent confusion.

Hi Tang

Thanks for the answer.

Regarding the CSCvb31985. I don't have access or with my account or don't find this Bug.

Another questions:

On the MX300G2 are micro USB and also UBS available, can I use both USB Port for Serial Connections?

Which Serial RS232 USB adapter are recomended?

because it exist different adapter with different Chipset.

Thanks

Regards

Georg

use the micro USB port.

I do not have any model to recommend.  But as long as drivers of the USB-Serial cable/adapter(if needed) are installed properly , I would think it should work.
