TMS Database on new MS SQL Server

Dear Support Community,

How to move a TMS Database on a new Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2, is there a pdf maybe available?

if i would just move only the database, is it possible with Utility TMS Tools to change the Database String or do i need to install the server new?

Hallo Christian,

yes thats possible. I short:

* stop the services

* detach database

* move database

* attach database

* use tms util to point to new db-server

* start services (or reboot tms)
