8945 Headset hookswitch

Question about the 8945 headset and wireless hookswitch capability.   Trying to see which headsets work with the 8945 for this capability and the admin guide has a link to supported models, but the link is broken.  Anyone have an updated link?

I am sure Plantronics has similar ones

Also as you might know you can also do bluetooth natively with these models

Srini

Thank you, Srini, for your helpful response.

stboyd, can you try accessing the link again, please? I was able to access the link without any problems. If you are still having trouble, let me know, and I can look into finding a solution.

stboyd,

Be careful with headsets and 894x series phones.  With bluetooth you can answer, hold, and hang up calls from the headset.  If you move to Plantronics many of their headsets are DECT between the base unit and the headset.  The range is very good but you will need a lifter to answer calls without touching the phone.  Do not be fooled by the "electronic hookswitch cable" plantronics offers.  It only works in 7900 series phones with an AUX jack.  Feel free to unicast me if you want to discuss.  I am in the process of implementing about 2000 89xx and 99xx sets in a K-12 customer.

hello:

i require a handset with the RJ9 coneector

this is used in a classified environment, thus no bluetooth

i might also want an option for a "push to talk"

any recommendations?
