I have a an issue with a 7821 with the active load of sip78xx.14-0-1-0201-169, CUCM and CER on are 14.0.1. 911 was without a doubt dialed from this phone for a one second duration yet the call was not logged under recents > all calls. We have 2 different numbers that translate to 911 (7911,9911) and have verified that dialing these numbers do show up as 911 calls on the phones call history. Other calls made on this phone appear without issue. Has anyone else encountered this ? The office the call was made from disputes making the call and it being absent from the phones call history makes it difficult to prove to them that it happened. I see the call on emergency responder and also through Microcall monitoring software.

I think it depends on the phone model, but the user might have the ability to delete an individual call from the call log.

I appreciate the response Elliot. The phone in question can delete individual calls from their phone history by navigating from recents > all calls > highlighting the number to delete > selecting the softkey to see more options and then deleting this number from their history. This may be what happend but I am operating under the assumption the user did not do this in the short time frame they had before a supervisor checked in on them after being informed of the 911 call. Maybe I should look into a way to remove the ability for user to delete placed call in case this what happened.

If everything else shows the occurrence of a 911 call but that log where the user can delete it, I think I will invoke Occam's razor.
All other things being equal, the simplest answer is most likely the true one.
