adding DID on to soft phones

Looking for the best practices on adding DID to Remote Agents using softphones on the laptop on an AnyConnect VPN.

Build these phones as you would any other using either BAT (if doing many) or Copy/Super Copy or whatever method you are comfortable with.  If you are assigning new DID ranges to these phones then depending on how your dial plan is constructed you may need to add additional config such as Translation Patterns or configs to CUBE/GW, all depends on how things are built.

As explained here, there is really nothing special around configuring a DID in CUCM Vs a non-DID/Internal number
