Hello,
Our Main Call Handler transfers certain calls back out again. The Call Handler transfer type is set to "Release to the Switch". Only other option is "Supervise Transfer". The receiving party reports that they are only receiving the CLID of the transferring number not the originating.
I see the settings on the gateway ports for outbound calls. We just use 'default' or "Call Manager" in all of them. I see one of these settings "Calling Party" may have the answer.
As we all are I'm very busy, I will continue to research but if someone can provide the easy answer it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Mark,
Have you tried playing with this setting?
CallManager System Parameter:
Clusterwide Parameters (Device - Phone)
Display Original Calling Number on Transfer from Cisco Unity = True
When we changed this parameter from the default = False to True the proper
clid is shown on transfers from UC 7.1
Cheers!
Rob

Thanks Rob for the quick response!
I'll give that a try for sure, our setting is indeed 'false'. I also ran a DNA on one of the outbound GW it seems to be passing the Calling party info correctly. Maybe hitting a gateway that's acting differently? I may just try pointing the CH to my # off hours to try different things.
I'll give your suggestion a try and post the outcome, thanks again Rob.
Mark
