Hello,
we have 2 "BE7M-M6-K9" servers and we would like to upgrade the preinstalled VMware ESXi 7.0 U3 to 8.0 U2.
During the upgrade, a warning states to move the servers from legacy BIOS to UEFI.
In addition to the need to make this change via the CIMC, are there other aspects to take into consideration before and/or after this modification?
TIA and regards.

Ensure each collab app running on that host is at a version that supports ESXi 8. See http://cisco.com/go/virtualized-collaboration.
You will need an 8.0 license key from Broadcom.
And don’t forget to update the server firmware and align VIB drivers to match after the ESXi upgrade.

Hello @Jonathan Schulenberg, thank you for the information.
Do you have any hint & tip and/or other things to watch out for regarding the change from legacy BIOS to UEFI?
Regards.
