Bulk update ( User Name)

Hii,

I have CUCM 8.6

Any ideas from where can I make update with bulk for 200 users.

I want to change :  Alerting Name/ ASCII Alerting Name

                                Display (Caller ID)/ASCII Display (Caller ID)

You will have to do it using BAT. Build out the CSV files and use the update phones option. I would export out your existing phones modify the alerting name/caller ID and then re-import it back in. Make sure you check the overwrite settings check box.

Hii,

I export from Phone ( all details) and update the names.

After I upload the file with: - file

                                          - Phones/UpdatePhones/QuerySelect the phones

The problem is I see only device information ( not the names)

That's correct, you are essentially rewriting the entire phone + extension information.

Hii Guys,

I find the solution.

Go to Bulk/Import-Export/Export/ select Phones the export the file. Make the change on csv and the go to Bulk/Add New (import/export-Import Configuration). Then go to Bulk/Import-Export/Import and select your file.
