Dear All
We are currently facing a problem with ccm 3.3(4)
Set up
We have a call manager as in publisher and subscriber at
Mumbai .Also we have accm 4.01(3a) at UK and have a connection through the intercluster trunk link.At uk they users who dial in have atoll free number through pstn. This number
has been mapped to a cti route point in mumbai. This triggers an ivr
script selecting option mapped to hunt group pilot numer the call lands
on an extension in that particular hunt group. The call is perfectly
landing on the desired extension
Problem
When the call lands to the agent and the when the agent transfers or keeps the the initiator on hold the theinitiator call gets dropped. Also when a ip phone from the uk network calls the ip phone in indian across ict the same problem is faced
Entire set up on g729 codec lan wan both.
The ip phone was configured with cti route point number for testing having the cti route point the same problem is beign faced.
When ip phone ext number is directly being called from the wan a trnsfer or hold is working fine

sounds like a codec mismatch issue...
if you've got g729 on lan/wan and between all phones, what is the codec ivr/ipcc is using?
could be configured as g711 (default config). if so, you need transcoders to complete the calls.
(verify all legs of the call(s) codecs and that they can talk to the next call leg properly)

Hi
The problem has been solved. The music on hold server needed to be added in the mrg which solved it. Thanks for you reply

hi,
can you explain more in details how is you call flow.
if the codec is same across lan and wan on both side , then you dont requrie any txcoder. Before troubleshooting IVR issue make the call between ip phones to work.it seems that sginalling is working fine. But you might have RTP is not established between the phones.
