I got the CUCM 10.x through PUT with the PCD DVD. We have attempted to install it a half dozen times and always come up to the same problem. Go through all the steps of the initial setup, supply administrator ID and password, certificate info, NTP, then it says that the security password was not entered, to go back and enter it. We only get an "OK" button and when that is selected, it goes back to the NTP and testing network, over and over again. We never get the chance to enter a security password.
Anyone know what's going on?

What HW, and ESXi licensing does it have where you're trying to get it installed???

I don't know. The person who is doing the VM install doesn't think that is a valid question for the issue at hand. I'm not a server/VM person. I am strictly telecom.(don't shoot the messenger).

Info from Cisco TAC is that it is a bug CSCus49295
Begin the installation again, when you reach the NTP page, enter your NTP data and click on the “proceed” button and not the “test” button. This should take you to the security password page, which will allow you to enter the platform password and continue the installation.
