change phone mac addresses in bulk

davistw

Running 7.1

I have a block of 80 phones that I need to change out. They are exactly like the old phones so all that I need to do is change the mac address in the device information field. What I was hoping is there was an easier way to do this. I will have to do this multiple times. I was looking at the phone migration tool but that looks like it changes other fields except just the mac address. Is there a way to do this?

Use BAT to export all details, delete phones, change csv file to update MACs, reimport using all details option.

Ok bear with me I am new to BAT...

Go to Import/Export and Export selecting "Select All" and submit it as a job.

Delete all phones

Take the output and masage it and import it.

Right?

Do I have to select all of fields on the Expor or just the "Device Data" fields?
