if i changed the Message Waiting Indicators numbers "one and off" on cucm under "Message waiting" and on cuc under "port group>Message Waiting Indicator Settings" would that be suffice or do i need more steps for that like server restart? is there any prior steps to this? any side effects?
That should be sufficient. In case of any issues with MWI where config looks good but still not working you may restart the Connection Notifier service on Unity Conection.
