Cisco 3 & 3 Program

Hello

I am having a customer ask questions pertaining to this program and need some assistance with regards to the UCSS

If the customer is a school system would that count as being a government entity and they can purchase 1 year instead of the 3year.   My customer is getting different answers from other contacts with Cisco so I want to be sure on the answer

They also have a question about when the ESW needs to be ordered??

Start with CUCM-USR-LIC and follow the steps, ESW will be tied to the specific SKU

But does the ESW have to be purchased at the same time.  If I recall there is a grace period that the customer has to order the ESW support

I have never done it that way, the way I have seen with this program both ESW/UCSS is mandatory, not sure about the grace period

The ESW must be purcahsed within 90 days of purchasing the 3&3 promo.  The UCSS must be registered at www.cisco.com/go/license within 90 days and the ESW contract number that covers the software products skus from the 3&3 promo is needed to complete the registration and activation of the UCSS.
