Older revisions of PCP did not have a safety mode of a working login if an eval license expired. Should this occur, you will need to use the older method of manually loading a license from the OS. Log into the Linux OS and copy an active license into the /opt/cupm/license directory. In about 60 seconds, the PCP UI should be back to normal.
This problem with the UI should not occur in newer revisions on PCP, unless you accidentally remove all the licenses for some reason.

This is the method as described in the installation guide.
Administration >License Management
We recommend that you add a license file through the user interface. In case of a evaluation license expiry, you can register the new license file, as follows:
1 Login as root through SFTP.
2 Copy the license file to the opt/cupm/license directory on the Provisioning server.
The system validates the license file and updates the license. The updated licensing information appears on the License Status Information window (Administration>License Management). If the license status is not refreshed after a few minutes, manually refresh the License Management window to view the updated license status
