Do you know the distance/lengh you can use a crossover T-1 cable {assume CAT-5} with RJ-45 between a Cisco router's T-1 interface and a T-1 interface on a Norel PBX to do a QSIG T-1 link? I was told 200 feet but wondering if anyone has information?
You can have up to 1,000 feet. Cat5 does not improve distance, because T1 it's not an so high frequency signal. you should instead use specific 100 Ohm T1 cable. Make sure you respect pairing.
