Is there a way to have the directory handler only speak the alternate extension assigned to the user instead of the full 10 digit extensions?
IE) "Sorry, Dave Smith, at extension 1234, is not available" instead of "Dave Smith at extension 5551231234".
Thanks!

Sorry, no there is not. It will speak the Primary Extension of the mailbox. The only way to achieve this would be to put a four-digit value in the Primary Extension field and the ten-digit into an Alternate Extension which is not worth it IMO.

I agree, I just disabled the feature which states the user's extension. Thanks for the clarification Jonathan.
