I received an SRE without software

II tried to use this process to enable it :

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity_exp/rel8_6/install/CUE_86_install/boothelp.html

I checked the md5 for the downloaded files.

Here it is what happened :

ServicesEngine boot-loader> config

done.
Starting Kernel.
I tried with 8.6.10 and the same happened. Is it dead on arrival (DoA)?
Should I RMA it?
