Adding to what Manish said, once you will go to the Cisco Website to download IOS for the respective router you will see some of the IOS versions marked with STAR that means they are the most suitable and recommended ones by Cisco. Below link shows this thing for 2921 ISR

https://software.cisco.com/download/release.html?mdfid=282774229&flowid=7443&softwareid=280805680&release=15.5.3M1&relind=AVAILABLE&rellifecycle=ED&reltype=latest

Hi Iniyan,

It is important to check if these gateways need to work with CUCM or CME, based on that the recommended IOS version can be specified as per the following link

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/unified-communications/unified-communications-manager-express/products-device-support-tables-list.html

http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/uc_system/unified/communications/system/Compatibility/CSR-Compatibility-Matrix-InteractiveHTML.html

Running one of the latest versions is recommended as it includes max bug fixes and new features.
