Cisco Webex Board Pro 55 G2 CUCM registration

I am trying to register a new Cisco Webex Board Pro 55 G2 in CUCM version 14SU2

I am getting SIP registration Failed 485 Ambiguos / Device type mismatch

I have tried to register the device as a:

Cisco Webex Board 55

Cisco Webex Board Pro 55

Cisco Webex Room 55

All get the same errors, the device is showing the SIP URI, provisioning is showing my CUCM IP correctly and I can make certain changes within CUCM that affect the device, such as CAPF and Web access etc.

has anyone else come across this problem and do you know which Phone Type (and Protocol) I am to use for this device?

Looking through the logs, it says the phone is type 36351, how do I relate that to the device type name?

You need to add the device as Cisco Board Pro 55 G2 as seen in this picture.

If you do not have this device type available you'll need to install a device pack to get the type of device added to the system.

Cisco Webex Board 55 and Cisco Webex Board Pro are two different products. You cannot configure a Board Pro with the device type “Cisco Board.”

I’m not sure about the support for the Board Pro G2 in 14SU2. If it’s not in the list of devices when you try to add a new device, you need the device package that @Roger Kallberg  mentioned in this thread installed on all the CUCM nodes. Then, reconfigure the device by choosing the correct model.

If the device type is already listed, choose the correct model and configure it again. In 14SU3, the Webex Board Pro G2 is included without any device package. Unfortunately, I don’t have a 14SU2 to check this.
