Hi All,
I am new to CME and I need your help on the following.
Our center is going to add 6 new phones of 7965 models to CME and need to provide a DNs for these phones
Concern :
1. Customers will call DID and the call should land on to these phones. How to confirm whether the DID hits the CME
2.They need a new system message to be displayed on these 6 phones , but currently it is displaying the name which is configured for another set of phones. How I can create second system Image.
3. Two phones are not getting registered. Is there a way to check why it is not registering.

1. You'll need to run debugs for that
2. You can't, you can only configure one system message
3. Check manually the IP config on the phones, then move to debug SCCP/SIP events on CME

If I change the system message to another name will it have any impact other than displaying new name on all the phones.

Hi,
IP phones are registered with CME.
Now the concern is
1. Is it possible to display a number during a outbound calling from a set of IP phones. For example when calls are made from IP phones to PSTN , the destination person should see a number to call back.
2. Suppose if an incoming call from a voice port comes to the CME and calls gets landed to an IP phone and when the second call comes from the same voice port it is getting busy signal , Can the second call be rolled over to another extension listed in the Hunt group to avoid busy signal.
I highly needed your help on this.

Hard to assist you when you are not responding to requests. Post full config, then we can see what type of PSTN integration you have and let you know which debug command to use in order to assist further.

1. what is your PSTN connection, is it PRI, POTS, SIP?
2. If you mean the label next to the line on the phone then use "label" command under the phone-dn
3. If phones have proper IP address and get the proper TFTP server then use "debug tftp events" to see what is going on.
