cookbook to unity um configuration

I'm looking for a simple step by step description of how to configure unity um rather than reading endless pages of documentation. Does anything like this exist or am I doomed to read war and peace?

Read the peace and war or you will be doomed. IT's really not that bad. But print out the long book and have it handy.

You have to follow the account creation rules correctly, installation process, AD schema updates, Exchange updates, Permissions wizards, etc. It's Microsoft AD, so tread lightly and read carefully.
