CUC Auto Attendant 10.x Greeting Access

Hi,

 

I am currently new to the collaboration world so please excuse my ignorance. We need to give one of our receptionist the ability to re-record the after-hours greeting on the auto attendant. Currently when she leaves for the day, she enables the feature on her phone, and when people call the main number, they are presented with a greeting that says, "Currently we are close and then gives them options to press # to leave a voicemail and other options". She need the ability to change the recording when necessary. 

 

Can anyone provide any links to documentation that explains how to do this, basically a step by step guide? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

If you would like for your company to have a single after-hours greeting for the auto-attendant that will play any time the office is "closed", that can be recorded/configured using the administrative GUI for that call handler.

If you would like the receptionist to be able to re-record the greeting any time she wants, as Jaime said, you can configure the Greetings Administrator. Here is a link to the setup for that from CUC v9, but the process is the same for v10.
