Hello everyone,
I am currently facing an issue with alternate greetings configured on CUC.
On CUC, extension 2132 is configured as a System Call Handler and Alternate greetings has been set on it.
If extension 2103 for example dials 2132, the user can hear the correct greetings.
If CFWall to 2132 is set on extension 2103 and that somebody calls 2103, he hears the standard greetings instead of the alternate greetings.
I've cross checked the configuration on CUCM (DN, partition, CSS) and on CUC and it seems fine..
Would be more than happy to get some help here.
Thanks.
Pascal

I am assuming you are hearing greeting for 2103 not 2132 call handler? If so this is working as expected by default as Unity by default looks at the original dialed number and if there is matching mailbox it goes to it. If you want that behavior changed to use the last redirecting party there is a setting on Unity connection to change it, but that affects all calls.

Hi Chris,
Yes I was hearing the greeting of 2103 instead of 2132.
I will remove the mailbox of 2103 on CUC and try again and will update.

Do both (2132 and 2103) have the same greetings??
By default on that scenario you would be actually reaching the user mailbox at 2103, not 2132.

Hi Jaime,
Thanks for your reply.
2132 has the alternate greetings.
2103 is simply a user but i think he has a mailbox on CUC.
I will remove 2103 from CUC.
Then I will again test the call forwarding and see if a user that calls 2103 can hear the 2132 greetings.
Thanks!
