CUCM 11.X jabber Phone only Mode without IM&P Server

Hi,

Currently we are running with CUCM 11.X version and jabber is used only for calling purpose,which means jabber is in phone only mode.

I would like to understand if we shutdown the VM's of existing IM&P server is there any impact.If 'yes' what will be the impact in the production environment.

I could not find any related document in Cisco for this requirement.

If you are using Cisco Jabber in Phone Only Mode deployment then you don't need Cisco IMPS Servers. Assuming that all your users are configured for phone only mode deployment and not associated with any IMPS Servers, then there will be no impact of shutting down the IMPS Servers. You can follow this excellent post on shutting down and removing IMPS Servers from CUCM Cluster:
