If you're deploying a small site w/ roughly 500 users on non-UCS hardware should you use the 2500 user OVA or the 1K user? I know the 1K user is labeled for C200 only but not sure if that was legacy and still applied (I've been told there isn't an issue but on the other hand reading up it seems the C200 is specialized for a particular CPU).

Thanks. I'm familiar with the link and just read it a bit more closely. So based on that it seems like the 1K selection is supported as long as its supported hardware. Is there a reason the notes on the 1K selection still say c200 only?

It's been some time and had a quick follow up. Installing a subscriber on a 2nd vCenter and the servers there have Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2697 v4 processors. I believe the C-200 ova can be deployed on the server but want to confirm if I should expect pushback from TAC in the event they ever need to be called.

The way I read that document as long as you meet the hardware requirements you're ok based on this line"Any model with physical core speed 2.00 GHz to 2.49 GHz (base frequency not turbo)." for restricted UC?

This would be the same way as I would interpret the information given. The information given in the OVA would also be of interest for this.
