CUCM - change extension number when dialing another extension

Hi all,

is there any way to change the dialing number when dialing a specific extension from a specific extension.

For example:

If I dial from 6800 to 7100 could i change the dialing number to 7050? This would only apply for this specific destination so when calling anything else the real dialing number will be send.

Hi Bobby,

To do this create a new partition, say PT_6800 and then create a new translation pattern with PT_6800 assigned to it. The CSS of the calling phone with ext 6800 should have the partition PT_6800 at the top above all partitions.

In the translation pattern the called phone number mask should be set to the number which you want to translate to.
