CUCM SAN certificate renewal

I’m just asking in order to plan for the renewal, we have a cluster with 4 node CUCM and 2 IMP with System version: 12.5.1.13900-152 and the certificate will be expired by Dec 22th . my question is if I generate new CSR for now, does this will affect the current certificate?

Is there any service will be impact when i generate a new CSR or when i upload the new certificate (after signing with CA) where i should restart the Tomcat service.

There is no effect on the current certificates when you generate a CSR. For additional details on certificate handling in Cisco UC systems please see this document that I wrote awhile back. Cisco UC Certificates Renewal Guide 

There is a service impact at the time of restart of services.
