Cucm self provisioning error

hello everyone,

i'm testing self provisioning feature on call manager 10.5. I reached a stage when i connect a new phone and i get to the authentication page. After i to enter the credentials of the user, none of the extensions i defined in quick/add user phone appear.i get a message asking me if i want to register "0" extension instead.

anyone knows what might be the problem?

Does the users have their primary extension populated?

thanks for your reply. I checked somewhere on Cisco's website that 7960s do not support the self provisioning feature using the idle URL.. i forgot where i read that..

so i opted for the option of the IVR. However when i dial the CTI route point i get a fast busy tone after like 2-3 sec (not related to a CSS config issue else the busy tone would be instantaneous). I've tried restarting the self provisionin service, but that doesn't seem to solve the problem. Any idea what could the problem be?
