Cucm sheduled backup working with warning status

Hello,

I am experiencing an issue with CUCM scheduled backups. Initially, the backup was not running at all. After changing the scheduled time, it started working but is now taking significantly longer than before. Additionally, in the backup history, it shows “warning” instead of “Success.”

Here are the details:

CUCM Disk Space: 75% used.

SFTP Connection: Successfully established.

Backup does complete but with warning

Could someone please help me understand why this is happening and how to resolve the issue? I have attached a screenshot of the error for reference.

@habeebek I don't see a screen shot attached.  Does a manual backup complete faster than doing a scheduled backup?  They're the same process, one is just time controlled, so I would expect to see a manual take the same amount of time as a scheduled.  You can increase the DRF Master and Local traces in Unified Serviceability and perform a backup where you're receiving the Warning result and see what the traces are indicating.

Hi Brad,

Thank you for your response.

The backup is indeed working slower than usual. However, the main concern is that it is showing a warning sign in the backup history. I have attached a photo for your reference.

Could you share the screenshot of the warning? The backup time depends on your infrastructure. If it's just a couple of nodes and fewer phones, the backup will be quick. However, if the size of your cluster is large and there are more phones, it will take some time. How do you determine that the backup is slow?

Hi Nithin,

Thank you for your response

I have identified that the slowness is due to the backup taking longer than usual. The important concern is that the backup status is displaying a warning. I have attached a photo for your reference.
