I see several related topics, but maybe not identical to the situation I see. I added 3 new subscribers to our NetID database yesterday afternoon. Like I've done before, since a scheduled sync would have been done by this morning, I attempted to associate the new IDs with their new Jabber accounts, but the IDs were not found. I tried a manual LDAP sync with the same results. These were students that are to be call center resources. We use the format xxyNNNNNwork (N=numbers) for students.
I then did a manual sync on the main LDAP (non-student) directory which usually takes longer. I would start the sync, then several minutes later look at the directory - if it still said Cancel Sync Process I'd now it's still running, if Perform Full Sync Now was available that would indicate it was completed. When I ran a sync on both directories - Perform Full Sync Now was available a few seconds later, so it appears it didn't run at all. I wonder if it's an issue with our Active Directory, or something in CUCM. I have someone in our department with more experience than I with CUCM and AD. I will also present the situation to him when he's available. For now I'm asking for any reasons or suggestions that could cause this situations - thank you.

Now - after trying another sync (that once again appeared to be done too quickly) the 3 IDs were synced into CUCM. I was then able to create the Jabber profiles and CCX configuration. We are not aware of any intervention that may have resolved the situation.

I hope your issue have been resolved.
Only the logs can reveal what really happened.

Thank you. I'll find out next time I need to add a new resource. Kind of strange how it just ended up work after the last sync attempt.
Noted re: the logs.

Today, 1/6/25 I added 3 new Jabber accounts/CCX resources and the sync was successful. I checked the status of the sync and like before, it seemed to be done in a few seconds, so I guess I should no longer assume it had not run, at least for the LDAP 'work', or student directory.
