CUEAC and Presence

We are running CUEAC 8.6.2.611 with CUP 8.6.4 and CUCM 7.1.5.  Currently, I'm showing the presence status of several individuals, but not all including myself.  There is a combination of Jabber and CUPC clients in the environment.  Everything else including phone status shows up just fine.  Presence is the only thing that is inconsistent.  Any thoughts?

Hi Michael,

CUP presense uses the user profile field in the attendant console directory for the lookup of the user. The only thing I can think of is that the user profile might not be correct.

Looking at the User Profile in both CUEAC and CUP, they are the same.  Everything was working fine until I upgraded CUP from 8.5 to 8.6 over the weekend.  I probably should have included that in my opening statement.

I would start the cueac console, start a sniffer on the cueac server and then bounce the cup service in cueac.

That will trigger a SIP subscribe message to be sent from the cueac server to presence for every user

Find the subscribe message for your user and see what the reply from presence is.

That would be the best way to troubleshoot this
