How about the Presence 8 server?

CUPS 8.0 is released and you can run it. Unfortunately the CUPC 7.x client is still so feature lacking that it is not worth deploying CUPS 8.0 until
the new client is released.

Indeed? It would seem my VAR is somewhat lacking. Off to the phones!

The new client is nice though. It's looks about 10 years newer...

Ya, hard drive and memory usage is also 10x.

Bill was right. It's like buying a toy car without batteries.
I still don't understand why Cisco release CUPS 8 while CUPC 8 is not ready.
Maybe Cisco thought some customers would use 3rd-party XMPP clients with CUPS 8 or use CUPC 7 with CUPS 8 to get the "Message Archiving" feature.

So any more word on the CUPC 8.0 release? We are almost commited to a large MOC roll out and I would like to give them CUPS and CUPC as an option.

Last time I checked was June 30.

Hi Michael,
It's June the 30th!!!
Any word please? We're seriously under pressure from the customers who are beginning to believe CUPC is just a mythical beast.
Cheers,
Stu

Release note has been posted to CCO. Not sure how soon they'll post the actual software. (maybe late today)?
