CUPC 8 softphone mode isn't working "Device Error. Failed to get configuration"

My CUPC8 deskphone mode is working (Windows 7 64-bit). But when I uncheck the "Use my Cisco 7960 for audio", I get an error message "Device Error. Failed to get configuration [400]" in server status and notifications. In other words, my CUPC 8 softphone mode isn't working. I removed and recreated the UCSF in CM, and that didn't help. I'm running latest CUCM and CUPS.

Edit: Seems like I'm having this issue only on Windows 7 64-bit. I tried running it on Windows XP, and there are no issues, softphone works. Also, I believe that video + deskphone should work on XP, but it doesn't. The video in options is grayed out when in desk phone mode. I know it's not supposed to work on Win7 64-bit in current release, but I thought it should work in XP. I do have video enabled in 7960 phone configuration.

Might be obvious but do you have any camera connected to your PC ?

Any errors in the server health ?
