Default Partition

I did a mistake.

I have removed default partition.

Now when registering new phones there is not this template anymore.

Does anybody know how to restore default partition and how to associate it to registration of new phones ?

Yes, on the default CUCM configuration. I bet it is a template.

I'm totally lost here, first, the partitions is not even in the list when you browse CUCM, and if you somehow managed to delete it, it's far away from being a mistake.

I think you can only delete that one via CLI, and you shouldn't be even messing around with the DB that way.

And I'm not sure what link you're talking about.

If it's the one I have in my signature, you need to be a partner to access it.

Let me explain.

Falling  Call Routing -> Class of Control -> Partition

Find

It shows a partition named default.

This partition was associated to autoregistering phones.

After removing default partition, all autoregistered phones don't have a partition.

OK, then let's get something straight, if you go ahead and install CUCM, there is no going to be any partition if you go there and  click find, that's not something that comes with CUCM.

The "default" parttion which comes with CUCM, is

What you're talking about, is something that SOMEONE configured, it's not there just out of the blue.

So, if someone deleted it, recreate it, simple as that.

That was what I did (I have created a default partition) and a CSS default.

After that I have run a batch from:

Bulk Administration -> Phones -> Add/Update Lines -> Update Lines

Find Directory Numbers

Next

choose from dropdown box defaut pt

choose on all dropdown box deafult CSS

Run Immediately

Submit

After that phone could ot talk each other (occupied line when trying to call)

Instead of choosing all dropdown options of CSS to CSS default I selected only CSS for line.

All phones started talking each other (Locks and Keys for lines)

No other CSS's were set.

But I can not remember where I have created a partition for autoregistratio ...
