E1R2

Hi,

I have a requirement to interface to a E1R2 link and a PRI-Qsiq. The setup is CCM-ROUTER-E1R2andQsig

Since CCM does not support E1R2 on MGCP I am left with configuring the router as a H323 gateway for the E1R2 link.

CCM allows MGCP for the Qsig link.Configuration is easier on MGCP.

Is it possible for me to run H323 and MGCP on the same router.?

Hi Brandon,

Thanks for the info. However by that time I had lost my test equipment. However I did so with two FXO cards with one port as MGCP and the other as H323.

I was able to dial out from both and receive through the MGCP port.So it works.

I could not find any document for the following configuration

CCM-H323GW(with FXO)-PSTN

My issue is if there is no DID Digits coming from the PSTN how do I connect to the CCM.Dialling out from CCM side no problem as the CCM sends the digits to the router.

Thanks for rating the previous post. You can use the "connection plar" command in voice port configuration to direct all incoming calls on a port to a particular extension or external number. Please see the following link.
