Hi All,
Can someone advise how I can export a message recording from a mailbox using unity 8.5?
I've done this before in v7, but unable to identify if its the same in V8.
Can anyone give me some guidance?
Thanks,
Natalia

You can still use the Media Master Java control within the administration UI to save the recording. This has not changed.

In addition to what Jon mentioned, you can also use the COBRAS export tool if you're looking for exporting on a larger scale.
Hope that helps,
Brad

How do you get to the media master on 8.6?

While on the mailbox choose Edit > Greetings. Choose the greeting you want and select Play/Record button. It will launch the Java applet so be sure to accept the security warnings.

I'm unable to playback anything, just asks me to record.
attached are some screenshots with details that a message has been recorded.
thanks,
Natalia

Click on the Standard greeting show in your second screenshot. Ensure that it's set to 'my personal greeting' and then the Play/Record button will appear. If you cannot play it back than there is no greeting recorded.

Hey guys,
Sorry to jump in here ......
But it almost sounds like Natalia wants to save off an actual message
and Jonathan is working on saving off a greeting .....maybe "apples & oranges"
Sorry if I'm way off base.
Cheers!
Rob
