I am facing this crazy problem. Cisco Unified Mobility, commonly known as Single Number Reach. I am trying to setup my IP phone or CUCM to call my cellphone. So I did every step was provided by Cisco or volunteers. End user Association Enabled Mobility. Remote Destination configured and remote destination profile also configured. I activated Unified Mobility Service. I did almost everything was provided on the internet. I did not post this until I did extensive search about the subject. When I did it the very first call was transferred then no more call was transferred. I need to know why this one is not working :( Calling search space rerouting has the privilege to call the cell phone also the IP phone can call my cellphone manually. I get this message when I hit softkey "Mobility" it takes sometime after I hit the softket then this message gets displayed "Failed to send call to Mobile Phone"

Your best bet will be to look at CUCM SDL trace log for reasons why the call does not work.

Hey Chris !
I found the logs I need and I see that I have Local Numbers and numbers that can call outside. when I use numbers that can call outside my number does ring both phones it is working, However, when I use the local number the call gets rejected and cant make it through. Now my question is there anyway that I can forward call with the associated Line like the same number is call me not the caller if you know what I mean.

I dont follow, can you provide some examples?
05-07-2018 10:50 AM
Yes, sure!
For example, 66xx is the only numbers that can call outside that would be I think 100 numbers in total. These numbers can call outside meaning can go through the gateway and make calls to my cell phone. These numbers work when I call the number that I have set the remote destination profile. The call is transferred successfully my desk phone and my cell phone will ring. However, the other extensions are local meaning they do not go through gateway only locally for example 11xx extensions can call within the company. Also, I tested to call from friend cellphone the extension that has the remote destination it did not work!.
A = IP phone has the remote destination profile setup
B = IP phone can go through the gateway to the PSTN can call cell phones and phones outside the company.
C = Cell phones (Smartphones)
D = IP phones can call only locally no gateway only with the company.
Now B calls A works!
C calls A does not work :(
D calls A does not work
if D calls A can I have A calls my cell phone?
also if C calls A can I have A calls my cell phone?
I hope this is clear, if not please let me know
Thanks a lot, Chris

Sounds like your telco is doing ANI screening and not allowing calls to go out with incorrect caller ID, can you adjust the external phone number mask on one of the non-working DNs to be a good known DID and try again?

Okay I will do some readings and see what I can do. Just to get this clear. Do I assign the adjusted DN to the phone number that has the remote destination setup on?

It depends on how your CUCM is configured for calling party presentation, but most commonly the "external phone number mask" field on the DN (if shared DN this can be different on each instance of the same DN) is used by having "use external phone number mask" check box checked on translation/route patterns and/or route list, so I would start there.

All phones use only One Route Partition (DN) they all on one DN and each route pattern has a DN assigned to it (calling search space controls the permission for long distance, etc ) I think it is commonly configured this way. In calling search space, DNs (route patterns) allowed with the proper permission.

Hi there
Is this SIP or PRI. Could you please post the debugs for the failed calls.
Hope this helps!
Cheers
Rath!
