i have cucm 8.6 , i need to know my cucm hostname because im planning to restore it on another server instance , the thing is when i go to "system>server" it shows an ip address in the "host name/ip address" , where am i suppose to find the hostname?

Login to CLI on CUCM and type "show myself"

try utils network host command followed by ip address from CLI.
