Hi,
Please advise if it's possible to get presence status for ip phone 79xx or 99xx from Jabber client through SIP Trunk between CUCM 8.5 and CUP 8.5 ?
the Watcher is : Jabber Client
Presence Entity : Cisco Ip Phone 79xx / 99xx

I haven't tested this explicitly with the 9900 series yet, but the 7900 series phones will display phone presence in jabber provided the proper association is setup. Is that the only piece of functionality which isn't working for you?

Please verify the following:
1) There is an incoming ACL on CUPS equals to "ALL".
2) The Line on CUCM has been associated to the End User.
3) The SIP Trunk Security Profile has the options below checked:
-Accept presence subscription
-Accept out-of-dialog refer
