In preparation for CCNP Collaboration

Hello there!

I came to a point where I decided I want to start building my very own CCNP Collaboration lab. After googling for what feels like years, I came to conclusion that I don't know where to start. Here are some question to those of you willing to answer:

What components should my lab include?

How and where do I get licenses for that equipment?

What is the correct version to match the current CCNP Collab exams?

Are there other questions I should ask but don't know to ask yet?

For a little background:

I work for Cisco partner

Got CCNA RS and Collab

Daily job is UCCE/PCCE

Prefer virtualized over hardware

Łukasz,

All of the content and versions for CCNP Collab can be located under different links here:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/training-events/training-certifications/certifications/professional/ccnp-collaboration.html#~stickynav=3

As to licensing, most Cisco Collab applications provide you with demo 60-180 licenses you could utilize, or if you work for a Cisco partner you can purchase NFR licenses.

You can always get decent server for your virtualization environment from eBay, i.e. Dell/HP/etc for around $400 or so.
