Looking for a tool that logs all the changes made in CUCM. It should track the user ID that made the change, time the change was made and the actual change to some level of detail (Device : Phone : Device Name : field) It would be nice if the data was sortable by the same fields.
Does such a tool exist?
We have CUCM 8.5.1.
Thank in advance for any advice offered.

Michelle,
The built in CUCM audit logs track this type of data, though the logs are not very user friendly to read and it does take some time to go through them. I am not aware of any other 3rd party tools that would provide anything better.

Hi Michelle,
In addition to the great info from Chris (+5 C-Man!)
Have a look at Variphy, it does offer a very granular level
of CUCM change audit tracking, plus an excellent
"snapshot" feature.

Cheers!

When we were at Cisco Networker's this year, we saw the OpNet application.
It did that, plus a lot more.
RTMT is free (download from your CM Publisher) and does a lot as well, but I've found you always need to keep it running to be useful.

Here's a sample display output from Variphy parsing the CUCM Audit Logs...once parsed, you can filter out the useless "noise" (like User Logging) and search for specific setting/phone/route/patterns etc., to see which User ID last fiddled with the setting/phone/route/patterns etc.
