HI,

I am trying to install Unity express 8.6 on ISM-SRE but getting an error saying that "

Corrupted netboot image  detected"

Any one faced this issue ? The network connectivity is ok. I can ping TFTP and FTP.

ServicesEngine boot-loader> config

IP Address [10.64.5.6] >

Subnet mask [255.255.255.0] >

TFTP server [10.64.13.3] >

Gateway [10.64.5.1] >

Default Helper-file [cue-installer.SPA.sme.8.6.6] >

Default Boot [none|disk] [disk] >disk

Default bootloader [primary|secondary] [primary] >primary

Updating flash with bootloader configuration.

Please wait .............. done.

ServicesEngine boot-loader> boot helper

Loading tftp://10.64.13.3/cue-installer.SPA.sme.8.6.6 ... done.

Verifying ...

Corrupted netboot image  detected

done.

Starting Kernel.

Thanks

Hi there,

Have you tried the service-module install url method, ex:

service-module sm 0/0 install url ftp://username:password@128.107.146.189/dir/cue-vm- k9.sme.7.1.2.pkg script cue-vm- k9.sme.7.1.2.sre

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity_exp/rel8_6/install/installsre.html#wp1129275

HTH,

Chris

Dude, this totally worked... I was trying dozens of different versions of code on an SRE-300 and every time, corrupted netboot image... did the service-module install and it worked like a champ!

Thanks!

Hello ...

in my case... I use the version 8.0.5 first with boothelper and work, but in a moment before, when I tried to do it with the process described in another answer, I can do it but I forgot the language package, and the installation give an error... in that moment I didn't associate the error to the language package file but when I use the boot helper the error is more specific and I download the language file and finish the instalation with 8.0.5 and after that with the service-module process I upgrade to 8.6.6
