Hi ,
I have vcs, lync gateway vcs and lync server 2013 to call between codec 60(registered on vcs) and lync client(registered on lync server). My b2bua is alive already. I can make a call from endpoint codec(362@vc.test.com) to lync client(test@vc.test.com). But my problem is that I cannot call from lync client to endpoint. As soon as i make a call, the error message came out like " Operation was unsuccessful ". is there any dialing rule on lync server?
Thanks,
Nyi Nyi.

There will be a static route that is configured on the Lync server to point the "video domain" to the VCS. Have you done that? Are you using FindMe?

Yeah. I made shell command to create static routing configuration on lync server. I have Microsoft inter opration license for B2BUA. BUT i dont have findme. I am using b2bua with lync gateway clustering. Do i need some dialing rule for endpoint on lync server?
Thanks,
Nyi nyi.

The static route will be your dialing rule to route calls from Lync to VCS. Do you see if the VCS is receiving the calls? If not, you might have to look at Lync server logs to see what is going on..

I didnt see my lync client pass through lync gateway and vcs. How can i check my log? You mean "video domain". is it my dns domain?

On the lync side, you can use Snooper to view logs. I quick google will point you appropriately. The video domain is going to be the domain you specified on the VC endpoints, it may or may not be the DNS domain depending on environments.

Thanks thomas. Under the log which part do i need to check?

You should be able to find your call from Lync to VC endpoint in snooper, post a screen shot and we can look further. I believe its the S4 trace that you need from snooper.

Please share me how to use snooper tool to got log. Ok sure i will post back my log..
